THE BIG SCAM--RABIES VACCINATION

By: Dr. John Fudens, D.V.M.

http://www.naturalrearing.com/articles/ ... SSCAM.html

I would like to give you, the reader, the truth about the so called required vaccinations, particularly rabies. There are two basic forms of law. One is the legal Constitutional and Common law that this country was founded on, and the other is "colorable" law passed by Administrative agencies/bureaucrats who have been given so called authority to pass laws. Black's Law Dictionary 5th Edition defines colorable law as "That which is in appearance only, and not in reality, what purports to be, hence counterfeit, feigned, having the appearance of truth." Yes, I study the law, am a paralegal, and have an extensive law library.

So any and all mandatory rabies vaccination programs are colorable law, in that they have been passed and mandated upon the pet owning public by certain vested interest groups. Who are these groups? First and foremost are veterinarians, in general, and veterinarian medical organizations. Second are the local animal control personnel, bureaucrats and politicians. What are their reasons? GREED, POWER AND CONTROL. Both these large powerful interest groups stand to benefit greatly by having rabies mandated by colorable law.

Veterinarians receive a large percentage of both their gross income and profit from vaccines given in the office. On average vaccines cost 60 to 95 cents per dose and are charged to the client at $15 to $25 per injection and substantially more in the large cities. Therefore, if veterinarians lobby to have a colorable law passed to give rabies vaccine every year that enhances their financial picture.

The veterinary medical societies, by working with other groups and area politicians, are rewarded by increased prestige and professional standing in the community. After all we are protecting you from the dreaded disease rabies, whether it exists or not. Some areas of the country are more enlightened and fortunate to have the rabies vaccine mandated every three years. You can be assured the rise of rabies is never taken into account as to whether the vaccine should be required or not. More on this later. The local government personnel benefit by extending more control over our lives, enriching the public treasury with fees, tags and fines, and giving the appearance that local government is doing something about animal populations, disease and risks to the public. Since rabies vaccines have been mandated, what county or area has seen less dog and cat bites, better animal control, more public awareness and educating of pet owning responsibility, better birth control of unwanted animals, less euthanasia of animals and decreased growth of animal control facilities?

These special groups and lobbies will use any argument, realistic or not, to justify their position. They are excellent at using the media to spread the lies and distortions. Examples: We have increased numbers of dogs biting people, pitbulls attacking and killing children are on the increase, more dogs and cats are running loose terrorizing neighborhoods, killing wildlife and other domestic stock, etc...ad nausaem. The only thing rabies vaccination is for is the protection from rabies virus, all other justifiers for the vaccine fall under human control and exist because there are a certain number of humans, connected to animals, who are irresponsible. Rabies is spread by the bite of an infected animal. The number of dog/cat bite cases in the U.S. that expose humans to rabies is as rare as shark attacks. This low incident rate has nothing to do with mandatory vaccination as the number of cases was low before the mandatory requirement.

Let me give you an example of Pinellas County, FL where my Affinity Clinic is located. I secured information from Pinellas Animal Control through the Freedom of Information Act. The record of animal control starts in 1964. From 1964 to 1978 there were zero cases of dog rabies in the county. Magically in 1978 rabies vaccine was mandated to be given every year and all dogs tagged and licensed. WHY? Well it seems four veterinarians, with animal control bureaucrats, pushed the county board of supervisors to pass a law mandating rabies vaccination every year. There were three local vets and one professor from the State Veterinary College who were behind this. It was interesting reading their letters pushing this law and the minutes of the county meeting. There was talk of dogs biting people (no actual figures given), dogs running loose, animal overpopulation, rabies on the increase in the U.S. (the increase was in wildlife, not dogs), etc.,etc. Not once was the issue discussed that there was no rabies in the county in dogs. To this date there still has not been one case of dog rabies, including the population of dogs whose owners, GOD BLESS THEM, do not vaccinate for rabies. Let's go further.

From 1964 to 1989 there were no cases of rabies in cats in Pinellas County. Magically in 1989 a law was passed mandating rabies vaccination, tags and licenses for all cats. Same tired worn out excuses were used. Since the 1989 law there was one cat with rabies contracted from the bite of a bat. DO YOU READERS REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT I HAVE JUST STATED? This is standard throughout the Country. No allowance is made for dogs/cats who never leave the house or yard, could never be exposed to rabies under any circumstances, or who are so ill, old or at the end of their life cycle that the rabies vaccine would throw them over the edge. No, all dogs and cats are treated the same because we have the bogeyman, rabies, stalking the streets waiting to strike unprotected dogs and cats.

Is there rabies in this Country? You bet. Are there areas of this Country that have rabies in their wildlife population and do some dogs/cats become infected? You bet. But let's be realistic. Rabies has been on this earth long before man walked here and will be here long after we are gone. The only way to get rid of rabies is to remove mankind and the upper animals susceptible to the virus. Then maybe the virus will die off. It is a self limiting disease in the wild as it is fatal. So the virus has an extremely hard time spreading far and wide.

What is wrong with targeting those areas of the Country that have a problem with rabies using a realistic and specially formulated program that will protect the population at risk? Too logical and the special groups don't make any money. Why not educate the pet owner to the risks and dangers and let them decide whether the immune system damage from rabies vaccination is greater or lesser than contracting the disease. We do have a God given Constitutionally secured right to LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Public health officials always have the right to mandate emergency health care procedures in case the public, in general does not respond properly. But why should every day, month and year be as if an emergency or crisis exists? And why should we have more and more control of our lives taken from us?

The vaccines, particularly rabies, are a political and economic scam being forced upon pet owners because they do not know the truth. Rabies, nationwide, is nowhere near the problem the veterinarians, media, politicians and bureaucrats would like you to believe. If you wish more of the truth go to your local city or county government building and look up the codes and statutes concerning vaccines and rabies. Get figures from local animal control for rabies in dogs, cats and wildlife in your area. Then you can start to fight back, take control of your life, and protect your pet from the only dreaded disease that is important--special interest groups pushing their program leading to vaccine induced damaged immune systems. Only you can set yourself free.

Current Veterinary Therapy by Kirk, the textbook bible for veterinarians in general, has an article on canine and feline vaccines by two researchers. Near the end of the article is a paragraph called Annual Vaccinations. It states "The practice of annual vaccinations lacks scientific validity or verification. There is no immunological requirement for annual vaccinations. The practice of annual vaccinations should be considered of questionable efficacy unless it is used as a mechanism to provide an annual physical examination or is required by law." Sure, if we can't manipulate you with annual vaccinations let's pass a law to get you into the office. Nice trick!

Well reader, it is your choice. I can only hope to stimulate you to look and go further. You don't have to take this suppression. Fight back. The only thing you have to lose is your freedom and you have already lost a great deal of it. I can fight with you but I can't do it alone.

More professional organize annual pet revaccination scam

Postby malernee » Mon Dec 08, 2008 8:32 am

Dr. Fudens statements

Re: THE BIG SCAM--RABIES VACCINATION

There is a family of vets who have maintained political power in south FL ever since vets got licence's in Florida. One member of the family was recently elected AVMA Executive Board Representative, District IV. The AVMA professional write up says he

" ran unchallenged for the AVMA Executive Board seat,"

http://www.avma.org/about_avma/governan ... _larry.asp

Sad to say the AVMA Executive Board member's hospital web site promotes

"Yearly Rabies Vaccines and License, as required by law" see

http://hollywoodanimal.com/petHealth/canineCare.html

But the Florida State Veterinary Board has refused to take any action when vets I compete with in business tell the public I am breaking the law when I fess up and tell the public the law does not require annual rabies vaccines. If all the vets where you live told you the law requires annual vaccines and only one vet said the law does not require annual vaccines which would you believe?

The government must stop this professional organized rabies vaccine SCAM. I can't even get my clients to believe me when I tell them the law does not require rabies revaccination every year. They think I am lying to them or confused because the vets who now control our veterinary profession have led the public to believe pets are required to get a vaccine booster every year. The problem is not just in Florida but nationwide. The state attorney generals will not do their job to protect the public against professional veterinary organize crime because the vets collect local annual vaccine tag tax fees for the government that help pay the salary of govenment employees.

when you fess up and tell the public rabies vaccine is not required every year those that control the profession call you a homeopathic vet which is about the same as calling you a crook. The personal attack by those who control the profession works pretty well to get other vets to keep their mouth shut. Unless you are the vet for the Royal Family you cannot make a living if the public thinks you are a homeopath. Vets on newsgroups such NOAH VIN and the fvma@lists.democracyinaction.com list teach each other behind closed doors rabies is reqired every three years but tell the public every year. They use these vet only newsgroups to slime and libel the vets who make the public aware of the professional organized annual pet booster vaccine SCAM.

the following post below was made on the fvma@lists.democracyinaction.com list by the florida AVMA Executive where some fvma members can post and other fvma members are given a muzzle.

In a message dated 11/16/2008 10:00:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, lgd642@aol.com writes:
Dr.Fudens, who is a holistic veterinarian and not listed in the AVMA or FVMA
directories, mixes a combination of science and economics to justify his
point of view. To imply that rabies is not a public health hazard is
incorrect. While an annual vaccination was required historically in Florida,
the current requirements according to state law is a vaccination every three
years. The primary purpose is not to protect an individual animal but to
prevent the disease from spilling over from the wildlife hosts into the
domestic population.

While the cost of vaccine is low, the paperwork and time involved is the
cause of the vaccination fee for most practices. Veterinarians in Florida
have supported the use of oral baits to decrease the wildlife disease.
Nevertheless, at this time, rabies protocols are extremely harsh toward an
unvaccinated exposed pet compare to a vaccinated pet--which is why we
encourage vaccination(every three years). Actually most of the expense is
for the license -- the money from which animal control agencies pick up
strays, lost pets, etc.

Most counties offer discount vaccination programs for pet owners who show
up. In some cases, means testing is utilized.

While Broward County had no rabies for many years, in the last few years
there has been a recrudescence of raccoon rabies in Broward and Palm Beach
Counties.

Dr. Fudens' comments are from an article on naturalrearing.comwhich links to
many homeopathic websites. If you believe that you can take unmeasurable
amounts of disease-causing material and stimulate a healing effect, then
homeopathy is for you. Perhaps we just can't measure these amounts yet.

AVMA Executive promoting Yearly Rabies Vaccine and License,

Postby malernee » Tue Dec 09, 2008 9:32 am

Sad to say the AVMA Executive Florida Board member's hospital web site promotes

"Yearly Rabies Vaccines and License, as required by law"
see

http://hollywoodanimal.com/petHealth/canineCare.html
*****
In case the AVMA Executive website gets moved or changed as a result of my whistleblowing here is the page promoting "Yearly Rabies Vaccine and License, as required by law" while the AVMA Executive says to other vets on the vet only newsgroups

"While an annual vaccination was required historically in Florida,
the current requirements according to state law is a vaccination every three years. "

If the studys about income loss from annual pet revaccination are correct the AVMA Executive hospital will loose most of their doctors take home income if they stop vaccinating evey year. A 71% or more loss of take home income has been quoted in the literature.

Canine Care Schedule

Puppies and adult dogs are vulnerable to many diseases if they are not properly vaccinated. It is imperative that owners complete the vaccination protocols necessary to ensure their pet is given every opportunity to live a long healthy life. This is especially true in the first weeks of life for a puppy. There are mutiple vaccines a puppy needs to receive between six and seventeen weeks of age. Your veterinarian will recommend a series of vaccinations in order to prevent the onset of certain diseases. Along with vaccines, routine physical examinations, dental care and spay and neuter education can all be provided by your veterinarian.

Canines

Yearly Rabies Vaccine and License, as required by law
Yearly DA2PL-CPV Vaccine
Yearly Fecal Examination for intestinal parasites
Yearly Heartworm Examination and Heartworm Prevention
Yearly Physical Examination and Professional Consultation by a Veterinarian
Nutritional Plan
Flea and Tick Control
Birth Control Consultation

The following is a list of some of the common infectious diseases you can help protect your puppy from contracting by following a vaccine protocol:
Distemper - A highly contagious, often fatal virus that affects a dog's respiratory, gastrointestinal and nervous systems. The Distemper virus generally spreads as airborne infection or with the contact of an infected animals feces or urine. Vaccination is the only effective control.
Parvovirus - A highly contagious viral infection spread by contact with virus infected body secretions such as blood, feces or vomit. This disease strikes quickly, causing damage to the lining of the gastrointestinal tract and can cause sudden death in some cases.
Parainfluenza - A highly contagious disease that speads via contact or airborne transmission. The disease attacks the respiratory system.
Rabies - A fatal viral infection of the central nervous system that affects mammals, including humans. Though it is usually transmitted through the bite of an already infected animal, it can be spread when the saliva of the rabid animal comes in contact with broken skin. Rabies vaccinations are required in most states.
Bordatella - A bacterial infection involved in infectious tracheobronchitis (kennel cough) and spread by airborne bacteria. A dog may catch this disease through contact with other dogs at dog parks, kennels or any area where many dogs frequent.
Leptospirosis - An extremely contagious disease that spreads through contact with nasal secretions, urine or saliva of infected animals. Symptoms include fever, vomiting and diarrhea. This disease can cause permanent kidney damage.

AVMA Executive Officer hospital web site today

Postby malernee » Sun Dec 14, 2008 8:22 am

http://www.ebvet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=406

Just checked the AVMA Executive Officer hospital web site today found in a link from the link above and found
the vaccine information got changed from

"Yearly Rabies Vaccine and License, as required by law"

to

"Rabies Vaccine and License, as required by law"

see
http://hollywoodanimal.com/petHealth/canineCare.html

I wonder why the AVMA Executive Officer posted the following on the vet only fvma@lists.democracyinaction.com list

"Dr.Fudens, who is a holistic veterinarian and not listed in the AVMA or FVMA directories, mixes a combination of science and economics to justify his point of view"

and continued to write

"While an annual vaccination was required historically in Florida,
the current requirements according to state law is a vaccination every three
years."

but did not change the rabies information on his hospital web site to say

Rabies Vaccine and License,"every three
years" as required by law

That change would have reflected the what he wrote the other vets about Floridas three year rabies law when he wrote

"Dr.Fudens, who is a holistic veterinarian and not listed in the AVMA or FVMA directories, mixes a combination of science and economics to justify his point of view"

AVMA medical Ethics and dr fudens big rabies scam article

Postby malernee » Tue Dec 16, 2008 11:11 am

So there is the evidence I have found about Dr fudens big rabies SCAM. The clients of florida vets can read the quote from the avma below and make up their own mind if the AVMA is following its own principals of ethics in advertising, treating animals badly, and promting quackery by promoting unproven medical care in the market place.
see

From: PRINCIPLES OF VETERINARY MEDICAL ETHICS of the AVMA

II. PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR
B. Veterinarians should obey all laws of the jurisdictions in which they reside and practice veterinary medicine. Veterinarians shold be honest and fair in their relations with others, and they should not engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or deceipt.

H. Veterinarians should strive to enhance their image with respect to their colleagues, clients, other health professionals, and the general public....

I. Veterinaians should not slander, or injure the professional standing or reputation of other veterinarians in a false or misleading manner.

IX. ADVERTISING
B. Advertising by veterinaians is ethical when there are no false, deceptive, or misleading statements or claims. A false, deceptive, or misleading statement or claim is one which communicates false information or is intednded, throught a material omission, to leave a false impression.

FL Puppy Lemon Laws

Postby kabb » Sun Jan 25, 2009 3:10 pm

I have a question regarding mandatory vaccines required for puppies. I have a 3 week old litter (5 puppies) that will be getting a wellness exam at eight weeks. Along with that exam are a myriad of vaccines required, including lepto and bordetella. I, personally, prefer Dr. Jean Dodds protocol and wondered if there is any way around these "laws" in FL. It does say the law applies to pet dealers which mean anyone selling two litters or 20 puppies per year. That does not include me, I breed very seldom. The last time I had a litter of puppies was in 2001. Is there a veterinarian that will follow this protocol and can I request this schedule? This is Dr. Dodd's recommendation...

Total of 3 doses ONLY
Age of Pups - Vaccine - Type
9 weeks MLV Distemper/Parvovirus only (e.g. Intervet Progard Puppy)
12 weeks MLV Distemper/Parvovirus only (e.g. Intervet Progard Puppy)
16-20 weeks MLV Distemper/Parvovirus only (e.g. Intervet Progard Puppy)
24 weeks or older, if allowable by law Killed Rabies Vaccine
1 year MLV Distemper/Parvovirus only booster
1 year ( give 3-4 weeks apart from Dist/Parvo booster) Killed 3 year rabies vaccine
MLV=modified-live virus

After 1 year, annually measure serum antibody titers against specific canine infectious agents such as distemper and parvovirus. This is especially recommended for animals previously experiencing adverse vaccine reactions or breeds at higher risk for such reactions (e.g., Weimaraner, Akita, American Eskimo, Great Dane).

I use only killed 3 year rabies vaccine for adults and give it separated from other vaccines by 3-4 weeks. In some states, they may be able to give titer test result in lieu of booster.

I do NOT use Bordetella, corona virus, leptospirosis or Lyme vaccines unless these diseases are endemic in the local area pr specific kennel. Futhermore, the currently licensed leptospira bacterins do not contain the serovars causing the majority of clinical leptospirosis today.

I do NOT recommend vaccinating bitches during estrus, pregnancy or lactation.

regulators are working for those they regulate not public

Postby malernee » Sun Apr 12, 2009 8:04 am

The FDA is captured.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1021435842

Harry Markopolos, the Madoff whistle blower, in a house hearing on the
matter. Towards the end of this clip, he explains that the FDA is a
captured regulatory organization, meaning that the regulators are working
for those they regulate, not the public.

I am quite certain that it will be easy to convince the politicians that we
need *more* regulation. I have serious doubts that this new regulation will
result in any meaningful fixes for the problems described in the previous
linked article about FDA reform. In fact, I have every expectation that the
absurdities will only intensify as the FDA increases its power. The
essential question is; what encourages people to act in ways that harm
others, whether they do it through medical fraud or through poor quality
food production that injures people? The absurdities introduced by
misguided regulations, I believe, actually encourage medical quackery and
unsafe food practices. Incentives are extremely important. Good people
will do bad things with improper incentives. Often, regulations provide
people the incentives to deceive and defraud their customers or patients. I
have been and continue to be a huge fan of the services that are provided by
quackwatch and this list serve. I also have very little faith that
government agencies will every provide the proper incentives to eliminate
quackery. Much of the immorality that exists in medicine can be traced back
to distorted incentives that are provided by government interference in the
health professions. Often, it is assumed that deregulation is synonymous
with quackery. I question this assumption, and my efforts are actually to
"thread the needle," if you will. Those who favor deregulation and those
who oppose medical quackery would achieve the same results through their
efforts, i.e. the reduction in quackery. Unfortunately, I am aware that
some who favor deregulation are patronized by quacks who mistakenly believe
they will be better off in an unregulated market, and this taints the
message a great deal. But the only way that I think quacks would actually
prosper is through government favors handed to them. That is, if we go the
route of government, eventually the homeopaths and naturopaths will get
licenses and protection from government, not to mention payment. I believe
that in actuality, deregulation of the health professions would provide the
proper incentives that would make quackery much harder to pursue, and it is
unfortunate that those who oppose quackery seem to want to rely on
government to provide the means to end it. Deregulation would spell the
demise of many quack modalities that offer no medical value. They survive
by feeding off of the bizarre incentives that spring out of misguided
regulation. The problems with the FDA mentioned in the previous post are
not reformable. There is no "right person" for the job. The FDA will
continue to be captured, as Markopolos put it. The incentives for
corruption are just too strong. Making it bigger and more powerful will
only compound the problems inherent in the organization. Professional
bodies such as quackwatch, composed of responsible physicians would do much
more to expose and prevent quackery and fraud than the FDA will ever do.

I will copy the link in case the yearly promotions gets changed or moved. Notice Purina helps with the yearly vaccination promotions.

Feline Care Schedule

Kittens and adult felines are vulnerable to many diseases if they are not properly vaccinated. It is imperative that owners complete the vaccination protocols necessary to ensure their pet is given every opportunity to live a long healthy life. This is especially true in the first weeks of life for a kitten. There are mutiple vaccines a kitten needs to receive between six and sixteen weeks of age. Your veterinarian will recommend a series of vaccinations in order to prevent the onset of certain diseases. Along with vaccines, routine physical examinations, dental care and spay and neuter education can all be provided by your veterinarian.

Felines

Yearly Rabies Vaccines and License, as required by law
Yearly Feline Rhino-Calici-Chlamydia Vaccine
Yearly Feline Leukemia Vaccine for those pets with potential exposure
Yearly Physical Examination and Professional Consultation by a Veterinarian
Yearly Fecal Examination for intestinal parasites
Nutritional Plan
Flea and Tick Control
Birth Control Consultation
The following is a list of some of the common infectious diseases you can help protect your kitten and cat from contracting by following a vaccine protocol:

Feline Distemper - Also called panleukopenia, is a potentially fatal disease that is highly contagious and can be spread through the air, contact with an infected animal. The disease affects a cat's intestinal tract and bone marrow. Symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, severe dehydration, fever and death.

Upper Respiratory Disease - A highly contagious viral infection including the rhinotracheitis, pneumonitis and calicivirus. This disease can be fatal and produces flulike or cold type symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose and eyes and fever.

Rabies - A fatal viral infection of the central nervous system that affects mammals, including humans. Though it is usually transmitted through the bite of an already infected animal, it can be spread when the saliva of the rabid animal comes in contact with broken skin. Rabies vaccinations are required in most states.

Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) - This disease is a leading cause of death in felines and is caused by a virus which inhibits the immune system and results in various types of cancers or other chronic diseases. The virus is present in saliva, urine and other body fluids and is typically transmitted from cat to cat by direct contact, including biting, licking, scratching, and sneezing. Signs can include depression, fever, loss of appetite, anemia and swollen glands. Cats may be infected and go for a long period of time before they show any signs.

Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) - A cat infected with FIV has a weakened immune system and is more suseptible to other diseases and infections. The disease affects a cat's intestinal tract and bone marrow. Symptoms include diarrhea, vomitting, sever dehydration, fever, swollen glands, loss of appetite, weight loss, and recurrent infections.

Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease - This disease includes a number of disease with similar symptoms that can affect the bladder, urethra and other parts of the lower urinary system. If your cat demonstrates any kind of unusual urinary habits which can include straining to urinate, blood in the urine, urinating more frequently than usual it is advised that you take our cat to a veterinarian for prompt treatment.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) - This disease is caused by a virus which interacts with your cat's immune system. Most transmission of the virus is from the feces or urine of infected felines. Infected cats may not show any signs of the disease for a long period of time or may suddenly become very ill. Signs may include a rough haircoat, fever, loss of appetite, labored breathing or a distended abdomen.

Some of the above information is directly taken from - Purina Kitten Kit - A Lifetime of Wellness handbook and is based on the research and knowledge of the behaviorists, nutritionists & veterinarians of Purina.

must move the tread to google sidewiki due to spam

Postby malernee » Sat Oct 17, 2009 10:08 am

I so wanted to make this thread interactive. If evidence is going to be communicated medical studies show it should be interactive. I believe the laws must be changed back to force government to mandate full disclosure when vets are collecting tag fees linked to pet revaccination. I am told thats what our Florida sunshine laws are for. Florida veterinarians lobbied and got the sunshine laws over turned that applied to the collection of tag fees linked to pet revaccination. Thats why this revaccination SCAM works so well in Florida. The Florida Veterinarian Association lobbied with money given from those who profit from selling vaccines and got the Florida sunshine laws waived for rabies vaccination and tag. The public is no longer provided full disclosure by the govenment and as you can see in this thread the vets are not going to provide it either. The Fla Veterinary Board is now busy protecting the veterinarians self interest by mandating only licensed vets vaccinate dog and cats for rabies. What good does that do if Florida veterinarians are allowed tell the public the law requires a rabies vaccine every year when they tell each other behind closed doors the law does not?
Sad to say someone or some computer started spamming this thread with full color Porn pictures soon after I started it and I had to end the interactiveness of the thread. I would like to suggest anyone wanting to comment please continue this thread on googles Sidewiki so the spam can be controlled by Googles computer.
