Animal Care And Control Offers Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic

Palm Beach County Public Safety Department Division of Animal Care and Control is offering low-cost rabies vaccinations and tags to pets in the Pahokee and Belle Glade areas. The location is Foodland Grocery at 530 S. Main Street in Belle Glade Saturday, November 22 from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

The Spay Shuttle, a mobile spay and neuter veterinary clinic, will be available to provide educational material and answer questions about rabies and pet sterilization. The cost of the rabies vaccination and tag during this time only is $10 for sterilized or non-sterilized dogs and cats. A rabies vaccination and tag is required by law for pets four months or older. All puppies and kittens less than four months are required by law to wear a juvenile rabies license tag.
