Palm beach county wants me to take 75 dollars from my client for a tag fee so the county can use that money to sell non clients of mine tags and vet care for less than it cost my client just to buy the tag. Why would the palm beach county vets and pbc county want to do that? Can someone esplain it to me. <G>

Subject: Discount Coupon for Rabies Shot, Tag & Chip
Animal Care and Control (ACC) was recently invited to participate in the 'Walk for the Animals' sponsored by the Peggy Adam's Animal Rescue League (ARL). ACC will have a booth set up to distribute coupons for reduced fees on the rabies vaccination, license tag and microchip at ARL's event. It will be Saturday, February 14, 2009, from 7-11:30 am at John Prince Park Corporate Center Pavilion, main entrance off Congress Avenue in Lake Worth. Coupons will only be distributed from the event location and during this time only. This is not a rabies clinic.
The coupon will be good only at ACC from Sunday, February 15 through Sunday, March 1 and the pet owner must present the coupon to receive the discount fee. The cost is $25 per animal, sterilized or non-sterilized. If the animal already has a microchip, and only needs a rabies shot and tag, the cost will be $20.
If you have questions, please contact me. Just to clarify, the website states the time is from 8-11 and will be changed to 7-11:30 as soon as possible.
